ISTANBUL (AA) - The Manama Dialogue security forum began Friday in the Bahraini capital of Manama to discuss the most pressing challenges for regional and international security.
The Bahrain News Agency said the three-day forum will host ministers, senior defense and security officials, and academics from around the world.
The theme of the year's forum is "Middle East Leadership in Shaping Regional Prosperity and Security."
Bahrain's Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa reiterated the Kingdom's commitment "to supporting regional and international security, peace, and development."
He also stressed "the importance of collective efforts to strengthen regional and global security and stability, address emerging challenges, and achieve sustainable solutions that benefit all nations."
Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan is among the participants, according to a statement by the Saudi Foreign Ministry.
