ANKARA (AA) - Manchester City jumped to the top of the standings in the Premier League on Wednesday after beating Aston Villa 2-0 at Etihad Stadium.
Bernardo Silva, and Ilkay Gundogan, by way of a penalty kick, netted goals in the second half to seal a remarkable win for the home side after the teams were unable to break a scoreless deadlock in the first half.
Manchester City increased their points to 38 while Aston Villa are in the eleventh spot with 26.
