ANKARA (AA) - The English Football League (EFL) Cup will see a derby on Wednesday as Manchester United will take on archrivals Manchester City in the semifinal.
Manchester United's Argentine defender Marcos Rojo has a calf injury to miss the Carabao Cup semifinal at Old Trafford.
Meanwhile Manchester City's Eric Garcia will be ineligible due to coronavirus infection.
Before the new year, two Man City regulars Kyle Walker and Gabriel Jesus tested positive for COVID-19 but they may return for the Manchester United clash.
The match will start at 7.45 p.m. local time (1945GMT).
The victor of the derby will face Tottenham Hotspur in the 2021 Carabao Cup final.
Tottenham on Tuesday beat lower division club Brentford 2-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to qualify for the final.
French midfielder Moussa Sissoko and South Korean star Heung-min Son were the scorers for the Spurs.
This year's Carabao Cup final will be held on April 25 in London's Wembley Stadium.
Manchester City were the 2020 champions.
