Manchester United beat Crystal Palace 1-0 on new manager Ralf Rangnick's debut

Brazilian forward Fred scores in 77th minute at Old Trafford

ANKARA (AA) - Manchester United defeated Crystal Palace 1-0 in English Premier League week 15 game on Sunday, their first match with head coach Ralf Rangnick at the helm.

Man Utd won with the only goal of Brazilian forward Fred in the 77th minute at Old Trafford.

They are currently placed 6th with 24 points, while Crystal Palace are ranked 13th with 16 points.

On Nov. 29, Rangnick was appointed as the team's interim manager until the end of the season.


- Tottenham's no-loss run stretches to 4 games

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur beat Norwich City 3-0.

Lucas Moura's screamer drew first blood for Spurs in the 10th minute at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Davinson Sanchez scored in the 67th minute, while Son Heung-min netted another goal in the 77th minute.

With this victory, Tottenham stretched their no-loss run in Premier League to four games since the appointment of Italian manager Antonio Conte.

Spurs are placed 5th with 25 points, while Norwich are at the bottom of league standings with 10 points.
