ANKARA (AA) - Argentine teen Alejandro Garnacho saved Manchester United in a Sunday English Premier League match, scoring a very late goal to give the Red Devils a 2-1 win against Fulham.
Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen scored in the 14th minute as Man Utd drew first blood at Craven Cottage in London.
Welsh midfielder Daniel James scored for Fulham in the 61st minute to level the match.
Man Utd midfielder Garnacho, 18, scored in the 93rd minute and United entered the World Cup break with a 2-1 victory.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup will start on Nov. 20.
Manchester United are fifth in the league standings with 26 points in 14 matches.
Fulham are in ninth place with 19 points.
Arsenal have 37 points as the Gunners went five points clear atop the English Premier League.
Second-place Manchester City have 32 points.
