Manchester United beat archrivals Manchester City 2-1 to win the 2024 English FA Cup on Saturday.
Erik ten Hag's team scored the opener at the FA Cup final at London's Wembley Stadium. Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho put the ball into an empty net in the 30th minute following a mistake by Man City's Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol and German goalkeeper Stefan Ortega.
Nine minutes later English midfielder Kobbie Mainoo finished in the box after a smooth assist by Portugal star Bruno Fernandes, and the Red devils doubled their advantage.
Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku scored a low shot outside the area in the 87th minute, a consolation for the Sky Blues, 1-2.
Manchester United, securing the FA Cup for the 13th time, have qualified for the 2024-25 UEFA Europa League.
