WASHINGTON (AA) - The Republican-controlled Senate narrowly approved a resolution Thursday rescinding President Donald Trump's border wall national emergency declaration, setting up a presidential showdown.
Five Republican senators announced they would throw their support behind the resolution in the run-up to the vote in the chamber, where Republicans hold a 53-47 majority.
It had already cleared the House, and Trump has vowed to veto the measure should it reach his desk.
