MOSCOW (AA) - A meeting of the council of foreign ministers of the Organization of Turkic States began in Kyrgyzstan’s capital Bishkek on Wednesday.
Opening the meeting, Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubayev said this year is devoted to the topic of strengthening the Turkic world, its economic integration, sustainable development, digital future and security.
According to Kulubayev, the ministers plan to adopt a road map for promoting a green economy, as well as a final declaration of the summit.
Apart from the Kyrgyz foreign minister, the meeting is attended by Türkiye’s Hakan Fidan, Azerbaijan’s Ceyhun Bayramov, Kazakhstan’s Murat Nurtleu, Uzbekistan’s Bakhtiyor Saidov, Peter Szijjarto from Hungary, which has observer status, and the organization’s Secretary General Kubanichbek Omuraliev
The ministers are meeting at the Congress Center of the presidential residence Ala Archa.
