ANKARA (AA) - Mehmet Buyukeksi has been elected president of the Turkish Football Federation on Thursday.
Buyukeksi, the only candidate for the post, received 158 of 209 votes to be elected the new head of the federation during the extraordinary general meeting of the federation at JW Marriott Hotel in Ankara.
The 61-year-old Buyukeksi served as chairman of Turkish Super Lig club Gaziantep FK between 2019 and 2021.
