The Memphis Grizzlies hammered the Golden State Warriors 144-93 on Thursday night to hold the biggest win in the 2024-25 NBA season.
In a game held at Memphis' FedExForum, Spanish power forward-center Santi Aldama scored 21 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Grizzlies. Jake LaRavia scored 19 points and Jaren Jackson Jr. added 17 for the winners.
Three other Memphis players, Desmond Bane, Luke Kennard, and Jaylen Wells, also scored in double digits.
Brandin Podziemski led the Warriors scoring 21 points, while Andrew Wiggins had 19 points.
The Warriors' US superstar Stephen Curry finished the away game with two points.
The Grizzlies also set a franchise record scoring 27 three-pointers in their victory over the Warriors.
Memphis' previous record for three pointers in a single game was 25 against the Houston Rockets in 2023.
The Grizzlies improved to 19-9 to be second after the Oklahoma City Thunder, which have 21 wins to lead the Western Conference standings.
San Francisco-based Warriors are in the 10th spot in the West with 14-12 win/loss record this season.
