ISTANBUL (AA) - Red Bull's Mexican driver Sergio Perez won the sixth Grand Prix of the 2021 season in Formula 1 held in Azerbaijan on Sunday.
Perez claimed his second career victory to complete the race at 3.33.68 at the Baku City Circuit after teammate Max Verstappen's high-speed crash with four laps to go while leading the race.
Sebastian Vettel from Aston Martin finished in second place with AlphaTauri's Pierre Gasly coming third, 1.9 and 2.7 seconds behind the Mexican driver respectively in the race that running 51 laps over the six-kilometer (3.7 miles) track in Baku.
The seventh race of the season will be held at the French Grand Prix on June 20.
