ISTANBUL (AA) - Mexico's economy expanded 2.4% annually in the fourth quarter of 2023, according to the country's statistics agency INEGI on Tuesday.
The figure came lower than the market expectation of 3.1%, while the North American country's economy grew 3.3% in the third quarter of last year.
The gross domestic product rose 0.1% in the fourth quarter of last year, compared to the previous quarter, also coming in lowering than the market estimate of a 0.4% increase.
The country’s economy expanded 1.1% in the third quarter of 2023, compared to the previous quarter.
