ISTANBUL (AA) – Mexico's retail sales rose 2.4% in November on an annual basis, coming lower than market estimates, the country's statistical authority said on Friday.
The market expectation for the figure was to come in at 2.6%, while retail sales in October rose 3.8% year-on-year.
On a monthly basis, however, retail sales fell 0.2% in November, despite the market expectations of a 0.4% gain.
Retail sales increased 0.7% in October from the previous month, according to the National Institute of Statistics and Geography.
