US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met several top Arab diplomats in Jordan to discuss developments in the Gaza Strip.
The meeting at a hotel gave Blinken the chance to speak with foreign ministers of the United Arab Emirates, Abdullah bin Zayed; Saudi Arabia's Faisal bin Farhan; Qatar's Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani; Egypt's Sameh Shoukry and Hussein Al-Sheikh, secretary-general of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization.
- Israeli army strikes entrance of Al-Nasr Children’s Hospital in Gaza
The Israeli army on Saturday targeted the entrance of Al-Nasr Children’s Hospital in western Gaza City, according to Hamas-affiliated Al-Aqsa TV.
Several Palestinian local media outlets reported that civilian casualties were caused due to the attack.
The Israeli army has recently targeted Palestinian hospitals in the Gaza Strip including the Al-Shifa Hospital, Al-Quds Hospital, and Indonesian Hospital.
- Türkiye recalls ambassador to Tel Aviv for consultations
Türkiye has recalled its ambassador to Tel Aviv for consultations amid Israel’s ongoing attacks on Gaza, the Foreign Ministry said on Saturday.
"In view of the unfolding humanitarian tragedy in Gaza caused by the continuing attacks by Israel against civilians, and Israel’s refusal of calls for a cease-fire and continuous and unhindered flow of humanitarian aid, it was decided to recall our Ambassador in Tel Aviv, H.E. Mr. Sakir Ozkan Torunlar, to Ankara for consultations," the ministry said.
