ISTANBUL (AA) - Bayern Munich announced Tuesday the signing of Moroccan right-back Noussair Mazraoui on a free transfer.
The Bavarians said the 24-year-old inked a four-year contract that will last until 2026.
"Straight from the first discussions with FC Bayern, I had a good feeling and I'm excited about joining one of the biggest clubs in Europe," said Mazraoui.
"FC Bayern have just become German champions for the 10th year in a row and will be among the contenders to win the Champions League again next season. I've chosen this club because I can win the biggest titles here," he added.
Mazraoui, who made his first-team debut in 2018, helped Ajax to clinch three Eredivisie titles in 2019, 2021, and 2022 and two Dutch Cups in 2019 and 2021.
He had 10 goals and nine assists in 137 matches for the Dutch football club and netted one goal in 12 matches for the Moroccan national team.
