RABAT, Morocco (AA) – Authorities in Morocco and Spain teamed up to bust a terrorist cell linked with the Daesh/ISIS terror group.
One suspect was caught in Morocco’s central Chtouka Ait Baha region, while two were arrested in Spain’s southern city of Almeria, the Moroccan Interior Ministry said in a statement.
Digital equipment and printed materials of the terror group were found during the raid in Chtouka Ait Baha, the ministry added.
According to Moroccan authorities, around 200 Daesh/ISIS cells have been dismantled in the country since 2003.
