MOSCOW (AA) – The Russian ambassador to Argentina said on Friday that Moscow expects Buenos Aires to adhere to the principle of not sending military equipment to conflict zones, including Ukraine.

The new government of President Javier Miley received a signal about the "importance of strictly following this line in the future," Dmitry Feoktistov told Russian media.

In mid-December, the Internet portal Noticias Urbanas reported that the new government in Argentina plans to transfer two Mi-171E transport helicopters purchased in Russia to Ukraine.

Russia launched its "special military operation" in Ukraine in Feb. 2022.
