ANKARA (AA) - SpaceX, a US-based space shuttle and rocket manufacturer, announced on Thursday that a capsule carrying a NASA crew has successfully docked at the International Space Station (ISS).
The SpaceX launch vehicle, consisting of the Falcon 9 rocket and the Crew Dragon capsule, named Freedom, was launched from the Kennedy Space Center on Thursday, according to a NASA post on its website.
The capsule has successfully connected to the ISS, it added.
Made up of four astronauts, the Crew-4 completed their journey in less than 16 hours and reached the space station that is orbiting about 420 kilometers (261 miles) above Earth. The crew is expected to complete their mission within six months.
