ISTANBUL (AA) – The Los Angeles Lakers secured a 3-1 lead in the Western Conference finals with a 114-108 victory over the Denver Nuggets late on Thursday.
With 34 points and five rebounds, Anthony Davis topped the scoring charts in Game 4 at the AdventHealth Arena in Orlando.
Lakers star LeBron James racked up 26 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists, along with Dwight Howard’s double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds.
For the Nuggets, Jamal Murray scored 32 points and Jerami Grant chipped in with 17 points.
The result means the Lakers are just one win away from a spot in the NBA Finals and can advance with a victory in Game 5 on Saturday.
