ANKARA (AA) - All-Star guard Chris Paul moved to the Phoenix Suns from the Oklahoma City Thunder as part of a trade deal.
“The Phoenix Suns are finalizing a deal to acquire Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star guard Chris Paul, sources tell ESPN.“ Wojnarowski, an ESPN journalist, said on Twitter late Monday.
The Tunder acquired Ricky Rubio, Kelly Oubre Jr., Ty Jerome, Jalen Lecque and a 2022 first-round pick in exchange for Paul and Abdel Nader, Wojnarowski added.
“Chris' leadership and competitive approach to the game will have an immeasurable impact on our team. Abdel possesses all the traits on and off the court that will complement our culture,“ Suns General Manager James Jones said.
Paul, 35, averaged 17.6 points and 6.7 assists for the Thunder in the 2019-2020 regular season.
