ISTANBUL (AA) - The Brooklyn Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers pulled off a trade Thursday involving James Harden and Ben Simmons right before the trade deadline, an NBA insider confirmed Thursday.
"The Brooklyn Nets are trading James Harden to the Philadelphia 76ers for Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond and two first-round picks, sources tell ESPN," Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted.
Wojnarowski added that the Sixers will send the Nets an unprotected 2022 first-round pick and a protected 2027 first-round pick.
Harden, who is a 10-time All-Star, averaged 22.5 points, 8 rebounds and 10.2 assists in 44 matches this season.
The 32-year-old guard helped team USA win gold at the 2012 London Olympics and 2014 FIBA World Cup.
