Nice shocked Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) with a 3-2 win in the French Ligue 1 week 5 match Friday.
Terem Moffi drew first blood for Nice in the 21st minute before PSG French star Kylian Mbappe leveled in the 29th minute.
Gaetan Laborde gave the lead to Nice in the 53rd minute.
When the home team fans expected PSG to equalize, Moffi disappointed them by tallying another goal for Nice in the 68th minute.
Mbappe took one back for the hosts in the 87th minute but it was not enough for PSG.
The most decorated player in PSG and Ligue1 history, Marco Verratti, who moved to Qatar’s Al-Arabi on Wednesday from Paris Saint-Germain, said goodbye to PSG fans before the match.
Luis Enrique's side, the Parisians, received their second loss in the first five league matches of the 2023-24 season.
Monaco top Ligue 1 with 10 points, while Nice is second with nine points. PSG is in the third spot with eight.
