ANKARA (AA) - Nigeria booked a spot in the round of 16 at AFCON after beating Sudan 3-1 on Saturday.
Goals from Samuel Chukwueze, Taiwo Awoniyi and Moses Simon gave Nigeria an easy win at Roumde Adjia Stadium.
Walieldin Khidir converted a penalty in the lone score for Sudan.
Nigeria moved to the knockout stage with six points in two matches.
In another Group D match, Egypt secured its first win in the tournament by defeating Guinea-Bissau 1-0.
Mohamed Salah found the net for Egypt giving the team three points and a second place spot.
Guinea-Bissau and Sudan each bagged one point.
