ANKARA (AA) - Nigerian health authorities have confirmed one more COVID-19-related death and 829 new infections in the country.
According to a latest update by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, the total number of cases in the country reached 83,576, including 1,247 deaths and 70,495 recoveries.
With over 28,400 infections, commercial capital Lagos remains Nigeria’s worst-hit city.
It is followed by the Federal Capital Territory, which includes the capital Abuja, with more than 11,000 cases, and the northwestern Kaduna State, where over 4,800 cases have been confirmed to date.
