ISTANBUL (AA) - Nigeria will host a summit meeting on green economy this week, which will address domestic and international investment opportunities, cooperation chances and steps to raise awareness.
The Niger State Green Economy Summit, a two-day event starting on Tuesday, will be organized by the governorship of Niger state in north-central Nigeria, the UN, EU, and World Bank under the theme of Sustainable Future: Harnessing Green Assets and Innovation for Niger State's Development.
Experts and officials from both Nigeria and foreign countries will discuss topics around the green economy in different sessions.
Halil Ibrahim Yilmaz, deputy chairman of Ankara Chamber of Commerce, president of the Union of City Councils of Türkiye, and head of Ankara City Council, will deliver a speech in a session named Reimagining, Repositioning Agriculture in Niger State.
Participants will be able to attend networking sessions and financing roundtables at the event.
