LEFKOSA (AA) - The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on Saturday denounced a terror attack on a concert hall near Moscow.
"We strongly condemn all forms of violence and terrorism directed towards civilians worldwide, and we extend our heartfelt condolences and best wishes to the Russian people affected by this heinous attack," said the Foreign Ministry.
TRNC President Ersin Tatar, in a message published on social media, condemned the attack where more than 130 civilians were killed and nearly 150 injured, extending condolences and best wishes to the Russian people and government.
At least 133 people were killed and 145 were injured after gunmen opened fire at concertgoers late Friday.
The attack took place as the rock band Picnic was about to perform at the Crocus City Hall, just west of Moscow.
Authorities have arrested 11 people in connection with the attack, including four directly involved, according to the Federal Security Service.
