ANKARA (AA) – The Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 3 of the NBA Western Conference finals late on Tuesday.
The 114-106 victory was the first of the series for the Nuggets, leaving the Lakers with a 2-1 lead.
For the Nuggets, Jamal Murray starred with a double-double of 28 points and 12 assists, Jerami Grant registered a playoff career-high of 26 points, and Nikola Jokic chipped in with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
LeBron James led the Lakers’ fight with a triple-double of 30 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds.
Anthony Davis also added 27 points for the Lakers, but the duo’s efforts were not enough to avoid the loss.
The 2020 NBA Playoffs continue in Orlando, where Disney Sports Complex is located, amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
