JERUSALEM (AA) - The number of injuries of Israeli citizens since the start of the military confrontation with Palestinian group Hamas on Oct. 7 has risen to 4,475, the Israeli Health Ministry said Wednesday.
In a statement sent to Anadolu, the ministry said as of Wednesday, a total of 4,475 individuals had been admitted to hospitals. Among them, 26 were in critical condition, 302 in serious condition, 725 in moderate condition, and the rest had minor injuries.
As of Wednesday, 332 injured individuals remained in hospitals, including 61 in critical condition, 167 in serious condition, and 105 with minor injuries, it added.
The latest injury toll announced by Israel on Tuesday stood at 4,229. Israeli media had reported the deaths of at least 1,300 Israelis since the beginning of the conflict.
