ISLAMABAD (AA) - A song celebrating the special bond between Turkey, Pakistan, and Azerbaijan was released on Thursday.

The song – titled Dil Hai Turkey, Pakistan, Jan Hai Azerbaijan – is in Urdu and has been made by a young Pakistani artist named Asad Qureshi.

The official video carries subtitles in English, according to which the title translates to “Turkey, Pakistan is Love, Azerbaijan is Life.”

Shot in Pakistan’s northeastern city of Lahore, the video includes visuals of past meetings between top leaders of the countries, as well as clips from the popular Turkish television series, Resurrection: Ertugrul.

Qureshi, speaking to Anadolu Agency, said the song is an ode to “the long-standing friendship between the three Muslim countries” and a “gift from Pakistanis to their brothers and sisters in Turkey and Azerbaijan.”

“I decided to produce a song celebrating Turkey and Pakistan’s brotherhood after I saw how warmly people greeted Ertugrul star Engin Altan Duzyatan when he visited Pakistan last year,” he said.

“I have included Azerbaijan because I want people here to know that Azerbaijan has always stood with Turkey.”
