A Greek Super League clash between Olympiacos and Panathinaikos was called off on Sunday after a player was hit by stray fireworks.
Panathinaikos' Spanish fullback Juankar was hit by a firecracker while preparing to enter the game on the touchline in the 50th minute.
He got treatment on the pitch but was later taken to the hospital for tests, according to a statement from the team.
The game was not restarted and the referee called it off.
Panathinaikos added that they will take legal action and the match's fate will be decided in court.
Matches between the two sides historically have also been eventful, as a 2019 match was also abandoned after fans attacked players on Olympiacos' bench and clashed with police outside the stadium. Olympiacos later were awarded the victory.
