ANKARA (AA) - Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen was again on the scoresheet as Italian league leaders Napoli beat Spezia 3-0 in a Sunday away match.
After a goalless first half, Napoli scored the opener in the 47th minute of the second half when their Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia converted a penalty.
Napoli doubled the gap with another second half goal. Osimhen scored a header in the 68th minute after Spezia defense could not clear the ball from the area.
Five minutes later Osimhen scored an easy change after Spezia's mistake for a 3-0 win for Napoli. It was Napoli's fifth straight win in the Italian Serie A.
Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia are the key players for Napoli this season as Osimhen scored 16 goals to top the Italian league's highest scorers list.
Kvaratskhelia made nine assists to be the league's assist leader.
So leaders Napoli boosted their points to 56 in 21 matches.
Second-placed Inter Milan have 40 points before Sunday's derby against AC Milan.
Milan, meanwhile, are fifth with 38 points in standings. The Milan derby will start at 1945GMT.
