ANKARA (AA) - Turkish tennis player Pemra Ozgen was eliminated in the women's singles round of 32 at the TEB BNP Paribas Tennis Championship Istanbul on Wednesday.
Margarita Gasparyan from Russia defeated Ozgen with the sets of 6-2 and 6-0.
Danka Kovinic (Montenegro), Patricia Maria Tig (Romania) and Tereza Martincova (Czech Republic) advanced to the last-16 in the tournament.
Another Turkish tennis player Basak Eraydin said goodbye to TEB BNP Paribas Tennis Championship Istanbul.
Eraydin and Eugenie Bouchard from Canada were beaten by Naomi Broady from the UK and Erin Routliffed of New Zealand with the sets of 6-4 and 6-3 in the women's double round of 16.
