KARACHI, Pakistan (AA) – The Pakistan Navy on Monday seized over 2,400 kilograms (5,291 pounds) of narcotics during an operation in the Northern Arabian Sea.
The seized narcotics are estimated to be worth $145 million in the international market, the navy said in a statement.
The seized drugs included 2,000 kg of hashish, 370 kg of crystal methamphetamine, and 50 kg of heroin, according to the statement.
This is the navy's second narcotics consignment seizure in the Arabian Sea this month.
