ISLAMABAD (AA) - Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday embarked on a two-day official visit to Saudi Arabia to attend the 8th edition of the "Future Investment Initiative" summit, which starts today in Riyadh.
He is accompanied by several ministers, including Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif and Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb.
During his stay, Sharif is expected to meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and other senior officials, as well as hold discussions with world leaders on the sidelines of the conference.
This year's conference theme is "Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping Tomorrow." Participants will discuss solutions to global challenges related to artificial intelligence, robotics, education, energy, space, public health, and sustainable development, according to state-run Radio Pakistan.
