Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem breaks Olympic record with 92.97m throw in javelin final

6th longest throw of all time, and Asia’s best ever in Olympics

KARACHI, Pakistan ( AA) - Pakistan 's Arshad Nadeem on Thursday broke the Olympic record with a monstrous 92.97m throw in the men’s javelin final at the Paris Olympics.

It is the sixth longest throw of all time, and Asia’s best ever in Olympics.

Pakistan last won an Olympic medal in 1992 when the hockey team clinched a bronze with a 4-3 win over the Netherlands in Barcelona.
