GAZA CITY, Palestine (AA) – The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian resistance group Hamas, on Saturday published video clips showing a number of its fighters inside Israeli military sites.

Referring to its fighters, the Brigades said: “These are of the elite of the Al-Qassam forces inside the occupied territories during the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood.”

The Brigades also published a video clip documenting “its members seizing a kibbutz, a communal settlement in Israel, alongside the Kerem Shalom military site, south of the Gaza Strip.”

The video clip indicates the killing of several Israeli soldiers.

There was no comment from the Israeli authorities on the incident.

Palestinian activists in the Gaza Strip also shared pictures and video clips on social media showing members of Palestinian factions and citizens “seizing” Israeli vehicles.

Some photos and video clips showed Israeli vehicles being driven into Palestinian residential neighborhoods.

An Anadolu correspondent reported that one of the Israeli vehicles arrived at Al-Khalifa Square in Jabalia Camp, north of the Gaza Strip.

The Al-Qassam Brigades announced starting “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood” with rockets targeting enemy sites, airports, and military installations.

Israel has declared a “state of readiness” for war after Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip fired an intense barrage of rockets early Saturday toward Israel, reports Israel Broadcasting Authority.

The rocket salvoes were fired from different locations in the enclave but Israel’s Iron Dome defense system intercepted many, according to an Anadolu correspondent.

At least six people were killed and over 100 others injured in the Gaza rockets attack, the Israeli media reported.
