RAMALLAH, Palestine (AA) - A man who was wounded in an attack carried out by the Israeli army two days ago succumbed to his injuries, taking the number of Palestinians killed in the occupied West Bank since Oct. 7 to 342.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that Fahim Al-Khatib, 25, who was critically injured in the attack in the town of Beitunia near Ramallah, has passed away.
Since Oct. 7, 342 Palestinians have been killed in attacks by Israeli forces and settlers in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
The Israeli army has intensified its military operations in the West Bank since the beginning of the Gaza war on Oct. 7 last year, increasing attacks and raids on cities, towns and refugee camps.
