RAMALLAH, Palestine (AA) - A Palestinian teen died of his wounds Saturday from gunfire by illegal Israeli settlers near the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to the Health Ministry.
A statement said the boy, 17, was critically injured in an attack by illegal settlers in the town of Beitin in the central West Bank.
Separately, the Palestinian official news agency, WAFA, said two Palestinians were injured in another settler attack in Sinjil in northeast Ramallah.
Illegal Israeli settlers renewed their attacks Saturday on Palestinian communities in the West Bank.
On Friday, a Palestinian was killed, dozens injured and more than 40 homes burned when illegal settlers raided the town of Al-Mughayyir, east of Ramallah.
Tensions have been high across the occupied territory amid ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, which has left nearly 33,700 victims dead since a cross-border attack by Hamas on Oct. 7.
At least 463 Palestinians have since been killed by Israeli army fire in the West Bank, according to the Health Ministry.
