Cole Palmer brought Chelsea a 4-2 victory against Brighton & Hove Albion in the English Premier League with his four goals in 20 minutes on Saturday.

The English midfielder scored in the 21st, in the 28th from a penalty kick, in the 31st and in the 41st minutes for the Blues at London's Stamford Bridge.

He became the first Premier League player to score four goals before half-time.

Brighton's goals were scored by French forward Georginio Rutter in the seventh minute and Cameroonian midfielder Carlos Baleba in the 34th minute.

Chelsea lay at the fourth spot with 13 points, while Brighton are at the eighth spot with nine points in the standings.


- Leaders Manchester City settle for 1-1 draw with Newcastle United

Premier League leaders Manchester City settled for a 1-1 draw with Newcastle United.

Manchester City's Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol netted with a shot to the bottom right corner in the 35th minute at Newcastle's St. James' Park.

English winger Anthony Gordon equalized with a goal from a penalty kick in the 58th minute.

The Sky Blues kept their place in the Premier League top spot with 14 points and a goal difference, while Newcastle are at the seventh spot with 11 points.


- Arsenal beat Leicester 4-2

Arsenal beat Leicester City 4-2 on Saturday to climb to the second spot in the Premier League.

The Gunners grabbed victory with two late goals; Wilfred Ndidi in the 94th minute and Kai Havertz in the 99th minute, at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal's other goals were netted by Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard, in the 20th and 46th minutes, respectively.

English defender James Justin tallied the both goals of Leicester, in the 47th and 63rd minutes.

Arsenal are behind Manchester City with 14 points and a goal difference, while Leicester City are ranked 16th with three points.
