ANKARA (AA) – Paraguayan winger Miguel Almiron renewed his contract with Newcastle United, the English club announced on Friday.
Almiron signed a three-and-a-half year contract extension with the English Premier League side.
"I am very happy to sign a new contract with Newcastle. I felt at home at Newcastle from the beginning. I've felt very welcomed and I feel like part of the family, so I am very happy to stay here and I am going to keep giving everything on the pitch to thank the people of Newcastle," said the 29-year-old player.
Almiron, who joined Newcastle in 2019 from US Major League Soccer side Atlanta, netted 24 goals and made eight assists in 152 appearances for the Magpies.
