ANKARA (AA) - French football club Paris Saint-Germain signed on Thursday Netherlands midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum until June 2024.
Wijnaldum, who joined PSG on a free transfer, did not extend his contract with Liverpool.
The experienced midfielder won a UEFA Champions League, English Premier League title, UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup with The Reds, producing 22 goals and 16 assists in 222 games.
His career includes big name clubs like Feyenoord, PSV Eindhoven and Newcastle United.
Wijnaldum earned 75 caps, netting 22 goals for the Netherlands.
The PSG finished second in Ligue 1 behind Lille last season.
