ANKARA (AA) - Paris Saint-Germain solidified their French Ligue 1 top seat Saturday by beating Nantes 4-2.
Argentine superstar Lionel Messi netted the first goal for the hosts in the 12th minute at Parc des Princes.
Just four minutes later, Nantes' defender Jaouen Hadjam's own goal made it 2-0 for the Parisiens.
Ludovic Blas' goal in the 31st minute was a wake-up call for Nantes as they took one back.
Ignatius Ganago from Cameroon leveled in the 38th minute and the first half ended 2-2.
Danilo Pereira brought the lead to the hosts once again in the 60th minute.
A penalty expectation from PSG was ruled out by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) in the 66th minute.
PSG's French star Kylian Mbappe netted in the 92nd minute and the match ended in victory for the Parisiens.
Paris Saint-Germain is first in the league with 63 points, extending the point gap to 11 with second place Olympique Marseille. Nantes is in the 13th spot with 28 points.
