ISTANBUL (AA) – Talks in the Saudi city of Jeddah on the Ukraine conflict concluded Sunday with the participants agreeing on the importance of continuing consultations to pave the way for peace.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) published the closing statement of the two-day meeting, which was chaired by Saudi National Security Advisor Musaed Al-Aiban and attended by representatives from more than 40 countries.
It was noted that during the meeting, which aimed to discuss solutions to the Russia-Ukraine crisis, the parties agreed on the necessity of continuing international consultations to find a common ground for preparing the path to peace.
Besides host Saudi Arabia, representatives from Ukraine and Türkiye also took part.
The talks were also attended by representatives from the US, Germany, Argentina, Australia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Indonesia, Estonia, Finland, France, South Africa, India, the Netherlands, the UK, Spain, Sweden, Italy, Japan, Canada, Qatar, South Korea, Kuwait, Comoros, Latvia, Lithuania, Egypt, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Jordan and Chile.
