French champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) signed Portugal forward Goncalo Ramos from Benfica on a season-long loan deal on Monday.
"Paris Saint-Germain are delighted to announce the signing of Gonçalo Ramos. The 22-year-old Portugal international forward joins on loan with an option to buy until the end of the season," the French club said in a statement.
Ramos scored 27 goals in 47 appearances for Benfica last season, helping the Lisbon club win the 2023 Portuguese title.
He netted three goals against Switzerland in a 2022 FIFA World Cup Round of 16 match in Qatar that Portugal won 6-1.
This summer, PSG, who hired Luis Enrique as head coach, have already signed defenders Milan Skriniar and Lucas Hernandez, midfielders Marco Asensio, Manuel Ugarte, Lee Kang-in and Xavi Simons, and forward Hugo Ekitike.
