ISTANBUL (AA) - The producer prices index in Türkiye rose by 25.21% on a yearly basis in February, marking the lowest level seen since December 2020, official figures showed on Monday.
Producer inflation also dropped from 27.2% in January, while in December 2020, it stood at 25.15%, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Office TurkStat.
The highest annual price hikes in February were seen in water supply at 57.58%, metal ores at 51.31%, and beverages at 48.84%.
The lowest rate rises were recorded in coal and refined petroleum products at 1.66%, basic metals at 9.29%, and computer and electronic products at 18.74%.
On a monthly basis, producer prices increased by 2.12%.
