ANKARA (AA) - French Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on Friday extended defender Marquinhos' contract by five years.
The Brazilian will now stay with the Parisians until June 30, 2028, according to a statement.
"I am delighted to sign a contract extension, but also very proud,” Marquinhos said. “This is a very special moment for me. Paris Saint-Germain has always shown confidence in me, and I also have a lot of confidence in this club. I am convinced that we will continue to achieve great things together in the years to come.”
The 29-year-old, who joined PSG from Roma in 2013, clinched 26 titles in his 10 years with the French club, seven of them being Ligue 1 titles.
