ANKARA (AA) - French football powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti pledged his future to his club, as PSG prolonged his deal until 2024 on Wednesday.
PSG said on their website that the club is happy to announce the contract extension of Italian central midfielder Verratti for a further three seasons.
The club added that Verratti, who will turn 27 in November, will be at Parc des Princes until June 30, 2024.
Verratti is a PSG veteran, playing for this club since July 2012.
In his seven-year spell in Paris, Verratti made 290 appearances and scored nine goals.
Verratti went down the PSG history as the Italian international became the most successful Paris Saint-Germain player.
He won 22 major trophies with PSG including six French top-tier division Ligue 1 titles.
