ANKARA (AA) - Robbers broke into PSV Eindhoven forward Eran Zahavi's home in Amsterdam on Sunday evening while the Israeli player was abroad for holiday.
Citing Dutch media, Israeli daily the Jerusalem Post reported on Monday that Zahavi's home in the capital was robbed for the second time as the 34-year-old forward and his family were on vacation in Dubai.
The Dutch police are looking for two suspects.
In May, Zahavi's wife Shay and children were at home in Amsterdam to be the armed robbery victims, and all his family members were tied up and gagged by burglars.
One of the two robbers was said to be dressed in a deliveryman’s outfit to trick the residents.
The robbers ransacked the home to steal personal items and cash, and then ran away.
Zahavi was not at home during the robbery in May as he was with his team PSV for an away match against Willem II in Tilburg.
He joined PSV in 2020 to score 25 goals in 56 appearances for the Dutch Eredivisie club and won the Dutch Super Cup with PSV.
