MOSCOW (AA) - Russia’s President Vladimir Putin on Monday discussed the situation in the Gaza Strip with the defense minister, heads of the Foreign Intelligence Service and the National Guard.
"We will discuss two issues. The first is the situation in the zone of the special military operation (in Ukraine). I will ask the defense minister to report very briefly ... The second is the situation in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone, the situation in Gaza," Putin said at a meeting in Moscow.
About the Russia-Ukraine war, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu said: "The servicemen are conducting professional actions, show heroism and confidence that they will not only hold their positions but also continue to implement the plans that we have outlined."
The minister claimed that Ukraine's troops failed to achieve success in any direction.
