MOSCOW (AA) – Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday urged the lawmakers to continue work on ensuring rights of servicemen taking part in the "special military operation" in Ukraine.
Speaking at a meeting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Russian parliament in Moscow, Putin thanked the lawmakers for passing a number of important bills related to the "special military operation," saying that in most of the cases the deputies voted unilaterally to express their support.
"Such consolidation on the most important issues of the country's vital activity is of great importance for the state," he stressed.
Moscow started its "special military operation" in Ukraine in February 2022 to what it says "demilitarize and denazify" Ukraine.
